River Dolphin

Dolphins largely live in Kratie Province and Stoeng Treng Province. The total number of dolphins is between 40-60. It is normally 2.0-2.8m long and weighs 180kg. It can live from 20-40 years. The female can give birth to its young once every two years, often between June and August. The young have a birth weight of 1/5 a normal, adult dolphin. Baby dolphins are 1m long. It can live on its mother's milk, which has similar characteristics to humans. It always smiles pleasantly at guests. It likes to travel in a group of 6-10. It eats small fish, snails, and shellfish as food. It can swim about 42km per hour, and hold its breath for 5-10 minutes. It can stay still at depths of 35m, but can deeply plunge into water as deep as 300m. They can communicate with one another via sound waves.
